About us

NVHSSW serves homeschool musicians in the DC metro area from elementary through high school. Our ensemble has provided a gateway of musical opportunity for more than a decade. Over these years, we have had the joy of seeing young people grow and excel in their musical gifts under the leadership of skilled, enthusiastic directors and dedicated adult mentors. Our members have performed in All-District, Regional and All-State ensembles, and some are now continuing their music education in renowned college programs such as the Curtis Institute and University of North Texas. In order to ensure the best experience possible, we highly recommend that each member study with a private instructor.
